Inspirations

Hey all. Some thoughts from Jon.

So Jenn and I have been brain storming up some good stuffs on story and world design. We are currently looking into hammering out details such as technology, culture, history, geography, fashion style, life styles and job classes. All bits and pieces of stuff that are needed to understand a living breathing world. We are currently digging around for lots of different sources of inspiration on steam punk. Anywhere from other artists, to anime, to movies, graphic novels, and cos-players. Trying to as open minded as we can before we start picking and choosing elements we want to keep. Still alot to nail down in terms of look and feel, but we are getting there.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this peak behind the scenes. Later.

Sometimes its fun to work with normal pencil and paper. We both use Cintiques  but it can be nice just to kick back and draw for funzies in a note book. Got to always remember your roots =P

The Idea

After graduating college, Jenn Cooper and Jon Letonek sat down and said:

"Well, we finished a junior year short, and a senior year (crazy ambitious) short film....

                                Now What...?"

Welcome to "Krono Keeper", the story of young Fray (Frayette) and her struggle to follow a mysterious man, Kade in an attempt to return the world to its proper future course. Not only does Fray not know much about this 'Kade,' but she is also unaware of if following him is even a good idea. Her only sounding board comes from Royce, an ex-military friend who tries his best to assist Fray any way he can.
Only with the powers of Krono, the Time Keeper, will Fray succeed in truly righting the future.

We will be updating more with our concept phase work as we continue to play around with the idea and the world that these characters live in.
